Help is built as a ladder. Each rung answers a bigger question without leaving your work:
- The "?" next to a number or control answers "what is this?" in two sentences, in place. Tips are deliberate: they sit only where a value is computed off-screen, a modeling choice is encoded, or a badge needs decoding. A field that explains itself gets no icon.
- The "?" in the top bar (or ⇧⌘/ / F1) opens a panel scoped to the page you're on: its guide, related topics, and everything tagged to that page. Your page state is untouched.
- This Help center is for when reading is the task. Open only the category you need, use an outcome shortcut (import your first account, understand a trade, assess retirement), search, or follow links between topics. Categories collapse so the table of contents never becomes its own reading wall; selecting a topic opens its category automatically.
- ⌘K searches help topics alongside pages, actions, and tickers. Type what you're wondering about from anywhere.
Everything is bundled with the app: help works offline, never phones home, and reading it never changes your data or settings.
If a topic seems wrong or missing, that's a bug worth reporting. The help corpus is maintained with the same discipline as the code, and every page's coverage is audited. The link at the foot of this center (also Help → Report a Problem…, and on the About page) is the route.
